After 15 years in the financial industry, a great
career and salary I walked away. My daughter
was about to turn one and I decided that it was
more important for me to raise her...I wanted more
than an hour in the rush of the morning and two
hours in the evening with her.
Now I don't want to mislead you, I have always been a fanatic planner...I was a certified Franklin Covey Instructor, so fanatic may not be strong enough of a word to describe me! I have also been a workaholic you could say too...I give more than my whole self to whatever I take on.
So I knew that when I had a child I would not be
satisfied giving less than 100% to my job as a
mom. My financial experience partnered with
my planning skills helped me to take steps prior
to leaving my 15 year career and not cause
financial ruin to our family...not that my husband
wasn't still a little nervous!
It has been three and a half years that I have been
blessed to be a stay at home mom. I am thankful for my
supportive husband every day! I hope this site will help
you learn how to manage your spending, savings, credit,
budget, maximize those grocery trips and learn a few
ways to make money from home that I have done with
